The 4 Pillars of Sponsorship

BIG Registration Pathway

Commitment to facilitate and financially support the administrative, educational, and testing requirements necessary for the candidate to achieve full BIG registration in the Netherlands.

Language Proficiency (Medical Dutch)

Provision of, or financial sponsorship for, intensive Dutch language courses (specifically Medical Dutch) to ensure seamless communication with patients and colleagues.

Logistical Support (Transport Allowance)

For candidates residing outside the immediate vicinity of the medical facility, provision of a comprehensive transportation allowance or direct transit support.

Housing Assistance

For candidates relocating specifically for this position, active assistance in securing local housing, or temporary accommodation support during the initial transition period.

Risk Mitigation: Studiekostenbeding

To maximize employer confidence and protect your investment in language courses and BIG-registration administration, Mentora Medic recommends incorporating a Studiekostenbeding (Study Cost Retention Agreement) into the final employment contract between the hospital and the candidate. If the candidate voluntarily leaves the organization within a specific timeframe (e.g., 2–3 years) after achieving their BIG registration, they will be legally required to proportionally reimburse the integration and training costs.
